At Kerby High
Les Henry Jr., popular member
of the senior class and also stu­
dent body president was taken to
the Grants Pass hospital on Sun­
day evening suffering from an at­
tack of appendicitis. It was
thought an operation might be
avoided and that he would be able
to come back to school on Tues­
day, but late Monday evening Les
Henry, Sr. was called to the hos­
pital and an operation was to be
performed immediately. By the
time Mr. Henry got to the hos­
pital the operation was over.
Louise, his sister, was with him
and all was fine with Les, Jr. ex­
pecting to be back in school with­
in a couple of weeks.
