DECIDES DEAD LINE
At a committee meeting last
Monday in the Grants Pass Cham­
ber of Commerce, it was decided
that the dead line for applicants
would be December 31st.
Any
girl who wishes to make applica­
tion can get one at The News of­
fice or Secretary Larry Manuel at
the Grants Pass chamber building.
There will be two examinations.
The written one on January 6th
and an oral examination the week
following, date to be announced
later.
It will be a hard job, but will
be worth it to any girl who is ask
ing for a chance to get some place.
The really smart girls on this com­
mission will be taken up in regular
lines of business very quickly. So
it is a wonderful opportunity to
any girl.

American Legion held their reg­
ular business meeting in the Leg­
ion hall at Cave Junction.
There was a good turnout and
