At the last meeting of the Illinois Valley Cham
ber of Commerce, a tentative proposition was put up
to the local chamber to consolidate with a county or
ganization. It is not going to be our mission here to
discuss this idea pro and con. We believe the local
chamber can take care of its own problems.
This article is to plead, coax, cajole all members
of the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce and any
others interested, to attend the luncheon next Tues
day and speak your mind. Let the officers of the
chamber know what you think of a county wide or
ganization.
