were transacting business in the
county seat the first of the week.
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Lawson of
O’Brien entertained Mr. and Mrs.
Ed. Mangini at cards last Monday
evening.
Pete Brooks spent Thanksgiv­
ing in Cave Junction. He has a
mine on Page mountain above Ta­
kilma.

of Takilma are moving to Balzke's
Auto camp at O'Brien, where they
will live for the winter.
Patricia Jackson, who has been
ill for the past month, has moved
out on Sucker creek where she
will rest for a few months.

met Wednesday at the home of
Mrs. Eva Hill in Cave Junction.
E. D. Haines returned to Weott,
California, after spending the
Thanksgiving holiday with his
wife, Mrs. Susan Haines of Ta
kilma.

George Martin went to Grants
Pass Monday, November 28, to
attend to the final settlement of
the budget board.

Albert Brammer broke his left
foot recently while working in the
woods, lie jumped on a log with
wet bark and slipped causing the
fracture.

Charles Elliott went to Rose­
burg with his daughter. Mrs. Hen
ning. He will spend the winter
there. His son Merle, remained
at Takilma.

Mr. and Mrs. John Semple of
O'Brien spent Thanksgiving week
in Portland visiting relatives.
They returned home Sunday even­
ing.

vice. He will go to work at the
