Here—-We Have What You Want 9 Mr. and Mrs. Herb Cauble of Grants Pass were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hafes the first of the meek. —o— Mr. and Mrs. Freiling Sawyer and son, Phil made a trip to Cra ter Lake last Sunday. They were accompanied by Mrs. Sawyer’s mother, Mrs. Cosson. Miss Pearl Rawhouser, former ly of the Del Rogue Beauty Sa lon in Grants Pass, is now oper ating with the Cave City Beauty Salon. — o— Ann Morris, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. C. G. Morris, left Wed nesday morning to enter the freshman class at Willamette Un iversity in Salem. Mr. and Mrs. Spence Mayes and son, Jimmy and Nelle Hayden left Wednesday for Pendleton, to attend the Round-Up. They ex pect to stay’ until next Sunday. ... 0~~~ Mr. Pullen who lives on the high way between Holland and Bridge view, fell from his barn last Wed nesday and received severe cuts to his right cheek and several broken ribs and bruised hip. Chester Martin, son of Mrs. Leo Martin of Bridgeview, will leave for Corvallis, nert week where he will enter Oregon State college. He has been working all summer with his father near Toledo. Ralph Huber and Oliver Boyd left last Saturday on a vacation trip which will take them to Pen dleton for the Round-Up. They expect to come home about the 20th of the month. Miss Wanda Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Brown of O'Brien, who was admitted to the Josephine General hospital last Tuesday for an emergency opera tion, was reported Friday as im proving nicely. ——o——• Mrs. Blanche Cousineau was a visitor here during the past week. She returned to Lakeview and was accompanied by Mrs. Ethel Pickett who will help in the cook house of the Anderson Logging camp. —o--- Mr. and Mrs. Howard Benrss have returned from their extend ed vacation. They drove first to Sait Lake City, then to Bryce Canyon and Zion Park and on to the Grand Canyon of the Colors do. From there to Los Angeles and up the coast. From San Fran cisco they came up the Redwood Highway. They report marvelous scenery and a grand trip Mrs. Mary E. Seat and Otval Seat left last week for Eugene, where Orval has accepted a posi tion with the Lorane High school and will teach the Social Science department. Before returning home Mr* Seat marie a trip to Salem, to visit relatives and al to attend the State Fair —o— Mrs. W II. Varner of Grants Pass arrived in i Cave Ju net on lust week and has i been engaged to teach in the 1 Rocky Dale school district. Mrs. Varner formerly taught school in Williams. Oregon Miss Lucille Phillips of (»rants Pass accompanied Mrs. and will remain here for the win ter. Lucille attended Kerby high school part of last year.
