You all have worked hard and are deserving of every thing that can come your way. To those of you who do not win. bet ter luck next itme. The queen contest will be over Wednesday, August 31st, that is next Wednesday, and the results will be broadcast on the stage at the Cave City theatre between shows at 9 p. m. You have this week left in which to work, and we understand some very important surprises are in store for some of the girls. The result will never be known until the last vote is counted. A queen and four princesses will be elect ed, that means that the five high est in the result will be declared the winners—the first highest will be crowned queen and the next highest will be the crown princess, and three more princes ses. It has been, so far, a very suc cessful campaign, and the race has been closely watched by every body. It has been one of the most important news items in The News for the last few weeks. Several stores have bought plenty of votes so last rush custo mers can have them when they pay their bills or make additional purchases. Last year the rush was astounding, and it is erpected this year will be the same, so there are several million votes to count this next week, and there is now no need to hold them up. If any of the girls have a reserve, she should deposit them now, as it will not do any good to hold them any longer, and it will help the judges in counting. Deposit your votes now as soon a- you get them. This contest is «o close that a single coupon of 250 votes might change the result, so don’t let up this week, do the best you can to win. P.
