Home Economies Meeting
Held Last Tuesday
A group of about 22 ladies
met at the home of Mrs. Ed. J.
Wilber Tuesday, May 10th for
an all day meeting with our Home
Economic demonstration agent,
Miss Nola Welch.
The subject, “Adult Education”
was well presented. A lesson on
foods and nutrition, also the im
portance of vitamins was stressed.
A display of cooking utensils in
cluding, copper, aluminum, gran
ite, pyrex and iron, The merits of
the different wares were explain
ed in regard to food values retain-
ed in the cooking.
A potluck lunch was served at
noon.
The extension service is plan
ning a vacation camp for mothers,
beginning July 24th and will last
three days. Location not yet decid
ed, but announcement will be made
later. Every mother is urged to
make arrangements to attend. The
camp will be social, recreational
and educational.
