A large number of ex-service men and their families of the Illi- nois valley attended and enjoyed the day's outing. Lee Cole accompanied by Mrs Ellen Cole, Mr. and Mrs, J. E. Bishop and two daughters, Irene and Sadie Mae, left »' week foi Eureka, Calif., where they will make their home. Mr. Cole, how- ever, stated that thev will make in effort to return for the Miners’ Jubilee celebration. — o— Mrs. Ethel Pickett of Klamath 'alls was in l ave C’itv last Sat urday and was visiting the Waldo mine district.
