Last Monday evening a few citizens met in the
Cave City theater and started the organization of
a volunteer fire department for Cave City and sur
rounding territory. A grand move and a worthy
one. Citizens generally w ill respond with help to the
best of their ability and in a few months we hope to
have one of the best volunteer departments in South
ern Oregon.
Several interested men came to the meeting from I

to tear ones character to pieces. They do their dirty-
work in the dark because the light of truth would
show them to be exactly what they are.
