Smith, sheriff, whereupon the following proceedings were had, to-wit: 1 nomas J. Brlnckerhoff was ap pointed general road overseer for the countr, to serve as such during the pleasure of the court, at a stipulated salary of f 100 per month. In the matter of the petition of R. S. Dahlberg et al., for a county road In Sections 20, 28, 29, Twp. 37 S., R.5 West. The board of road viewers ordered to view, survey and lay out said proposed road and make report therein at the next regular term of the court. In the matter of the statement of S. F. Cheshire, county clerk. In the matter of issuance of county war rants for scalp bounties for the month of February, 19 12, said re port was examined and approved. In the matter of the appointment of Judges and clerks of election boards in place of those previously appointed and who were unable to serve, the following appointments were made.: M. C. The mercantile Trust Company of San Francisco which holds the mortgage Is acting as Trustee for the California-Oregon Power company and will certify to the bonds, which make them gllt-edgs Investments. In addition to taking up the underlying bonds of the sub sidiary companies, the big corporation Is empowered to use a portion of th funds from the new bond Issue for1 other purposes, such as extending Its lines, purchasing property and for other legitimate purposes. Included In the swallowing act are the Rogue River Electric company, which fur nishes power and lighting In Grants Pass; the Siskiyou Power company, Siskiyou Power and Lighting com pany, and the Klamath company. The Instrument Just Hied here was also filed In Jackson county and Sis kiyou county, Cal., the law requiring a record to be made In all counties In which the corporation owns property or Is doing business.
