points to visit with friends.
Miss Lillian Moore, of Roseburg,

she goes to spend some time visiting

Mrs. S. Loughridge returned to
this city Tuesday morning, after
several days spent with her daugh

Medford Saturday and visited over
Sunday with his family in this city,
returning to Medford on the after
noon train.
Mrs. Andy McCarthy and little
son, Orvll, came up from Glendale

short time with relatives and

Clyde Lee returned Monday from
Three Pines, where he has been en
gaged in the surveying business. He
will visit for a few days with re
latives and friends in this city.
Mrs. Mollie John Dahle returned
to her home at Willetts, Cal., Sun
day, after two months spent with re
latives and friends in this city and
at her old home at Williams Creek.

C. D. Smith and Ed. Davis spent
several days last week on a hunting
trip near Granite Hill, but were very
unsuccessful, so far as game was
concerned, but enjoyed the outing
and freedom from business cares
and returned to this city Monday
evening feeling fine and ready for
work.

where he goes to join his parents
and brothers to spend the summer.
Ira Binns returned to Medford
Tuesday morning, alter spenaing a
week in this city and at Reuben, at
the latter place being with Lester

eral days spent with her parents and

of different orchards along the line.
Roy Jordan returned Tuesday
from Wolf Creek, where he spent
several days on a hunting trip and
secured one deer while In the woods.
Miss Dessie Cole, who has spent
the past few weeks visiting friends
and relatives at Oregon City, Port
land and Albany, returned to her
home in this city Monday evening,
Mrs. Henry Ilarth left Friday
evening for her home at Roseburg,
after a visit of several weeks with
her mother, Mrs. Dean, who has
been In poor health for soino time
past.
Miss Pearl Koarns returned Wed
nesday morning from an extended
visit at Salem and Portland. Sho
was accompanied home by Miss
Marie Frantz, who will visit In this
city for a time.
Mrs. Redmond Sharp, of Pasco,
Wash., who has been visiting Mrs.
Jas. H. Hall, of this city, for the
past week, left Wednesday morn
ing for a visit with relatives at Rose-
burg before returninng home.
Miss Mabel Darnellle, formerly of
this city, but now a resident of
Jacksonville where she Is engaged In
teaching school, was In our city last
week for a short visit with friends
and left for Crescent City, where she
will spend several weeks rusticating
on the beach.

urday from his mine, the Grub

with hint several handsome nuggets
