Forty guests responded to the invita tions and passed a most pleasant evening. After an exciting oontest, it was found that Mrs. Horn and Harry L. Starr bad captured the first prizes, while Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Lucas car ried off the consolation honors. Re freshments were served during tbe evening. The residence was decorated itb hearts and other appropriate valentine decorations.
