I have been in Paris but two days
after seven days tossing on the Atlantic
and have had lime only for a glance
at tiie exposition. This glance has im­
pressed me with nothing wo much as its
utter un preparedness Masonry, car­

sweeping, dusting, sprinkling every­
where, with only here and there an
exhibit complete and ready for business.
The shops, restaurants and midway
