Graham apple luusb. — Prepare a smooth apple sauce of rather tart apples. «Sweeten it slightly, and thin with boil ing water. Have this mixture boiling, and add to it graham dour, either sprin kled in dry or moistened with water, sufficient to make a well-thickened mush. Cook and serve hot with cream. Oatmeal mush with Iruit. Heal a quart of water to boiling in the inner dinh, sift into it one cup of coarse oat meal, and boil rapidly, Stirling contin uously until it sets. Proceed according to general directions and cook three hours or longer. When dialling for the table pul in some sliced, mellow and juicy, raw, sweet apples. Strawberry apples and other slightly tart apples are good. Well-ripened peaches and bana na« may also be used, if care is taken to preserve the slices whole, so as to pre sent an appetizing appearance. Oatmeal blancmange. Soak a cupful of coarse oatmeal over night in a pint aad a half of water. In the morning beat the oatmeal well with a spoon, and alter wards pass all the soluble portion through a fine strainer. Place the li quid in the inner dish of a double boiler, and cook for half an hour. Turn into cups, cool 15 or 20 minutes and serve warm with cream and sugar, or a dress ing of fruit juice.
