Mr. and Mrs. Young are located at Saxman, about loO miles south of Wrang«!, and have charge of the government schools there. Mrs. Young reports the young Indians ae very tractable and more easily managed than white children, and that the Indians generally are well clothed, live comfortaby and have money. The Chinook jargon is the commcn language ufcommunication between the Indians and the whites. Mr. Young preaches to the Indians in Chinook.
