Evan Thomas Burt, 33, of Hammond was arrested on suspicion of felony fourth-degree assault and booked at Clatsop County Jail. The victim was a 28-year-old female and there was a child present. • Assault, 10 a.m. Aug. 27, Dairy Queen. Evelyn Rose Moss, 22, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault on a 31-year-old Warren- ton woman. Moss was cited and released. Thefts and burglaries • Shoplifting, 12:18 p.m. Aug. 21, Walmart. Randolph Ross Searls, 64, of Warrenton was cited for second-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $451 in food items. • Shoplifting, 9:41 a.m. Aug. 23, Fred Meyer. Erland James Fahlstrom, 35, of Warrenton was cited for second-degree theft and criminal trespassing after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $150 in merchandise. • Shoplifting, 9:17 p.m. Aug. 23, Walmart. Jerry L. Buckhannon, 43, of Hillsboro and Robyn L. Rasmussen, 42, of Lafayette were cited for second-degree theft after they allegedly at- tempted to leave the store with- out paying for $368 in batteries, LED lights, camping supplies, and blankets. • Shoplifting, 1:57 p.m. Aug. 25, Fred Meyer. Nicole Raelyn Horsley, 27, of Astoria was cited for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $194 in merchandise. • Shoplifting, 11:09 a.m. Aug.27, Fred Meyer. Keana Christine Al- varez, 27, of Gearhart was sited for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $491 in clothes, pet food, and groceries. • Telephone fraud, 1:26 p.m. Aug. 28, 1200 block Southwest Cedar Avenue.
