CITY OF WARRENTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at Warrenton City Hall, 225 S. Main Avenue, Warrenton, to give residents the opportunity to comment on amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Article 9, “Economy” (CP-22-1) and the WMC Development Code chapters 16.40 General Commercial (C-1), 16.44 Com- mercial Mixed Use (CMU), and 16.60 General Industrial (I-1) (DCR-22-1) to align with the results of the 2020 Economic Opportunity Analysis (EOA). Adoption of the EOA will also be considered. After holding a public hearing on April 14, 2022, the Warrenton Planning Commission voted to forward a recommendation to the City Commission to approve these amendments and adoption of the EOA. Those wishing to testify at this hearing may attend the public hearing and submit a comment card to speak to the City Commission or submit written comments before 4:00 P.M. on the day of the hearing.
