Birds of a Feather
opens Friday
Birds of a Feather, a produc-
tion of the Ten Fifteen The-
ater, premieres Friday, June
17, at the troupe’s theater,
1015 Commercial St., Astoria.
The play, by Marc Acito, re-
counts the story of Roy and
Silo, the two Central Park Zoo
chinstrap penguins who part-
nered, adopted an egg, and
hatched and raised a chick to-
gether.
Performances are at 7:30
p.m. June 17, 18, 24, and 25,
with a 3:30 p.m. matinee on
June 19.
The matinee includes a
post-show chat with the cast
and crew facilitated by Tessa
James Scheller, founder of the
Lower Columbia Q Center.
Tickets are $20 and available
at thetenfifteentheater.com.
