Virtuoso guitars
at Liberty Theatre
Six virtuoso guitarists from
four countries will present
what they’re calling a “phe-
nomensemble” at 7 p.m. Sat-
urday, Feb. 19, at the Liberty
Theatre, 1203 Commercial
St., Astoria.
California Guitar Trio and
the Montreal Guitare Trio,
along with players from Ja-
pan and Belgium will play
original and classic pieces
on steel- and nylon-stringed
guitars.
Reserved seating is $25,
$30 and $35 and available at

Doors open at 6 p.m. Snacks
and beverages will be avail-
able in the new concessions
and bar area.
Celtic, folk duo to
perform Feb. 27
Four Shillings Short, a hus-
band and wife duo specializ-
ing in Celtic, folk and world
music, will perform at 3 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 27, at the Char-
lene Larsen Center for the
Performing Arts, 588 16 th St.,
Astoria.
Aodh Og O’Tuama grew up
in Cork, Ireland; his wife,
Christy Martin, is from Cali-
fornia. They have been tour-
ing together since 1995.
