A woman reported $211 eyelash extension were stolen. • Scam, 3:20 p.m. May 27, 100 block Northeast Skipanon Drive. A woman reported she was in- stalling a streaming device when a message came over her TV screen informing her she needed to pay $100 and to call a num- ber. She called and allowed the person access to her computer. Later she received a call asking her to return $5,000 that had purportedly been put into her bank account by mistake. She called police. • Auto theft, 4:44 p.m. May 28, L&D Race Tech. The owner reported a chain-link fence was destroyed and three motorcycles valued at $9,000 were stolen. • Auto theft, 9:28 p.m. May 28, Fred Meyer. A couple reported their 1996 Chevy Tahoe was stolen from the parking lot. • Shoplifting, 10:14 p.m. May 29, Walmart. Tyler Steven Harms, 31, of Seaside was cited for third-degree theft and attempt- ed second-degree theft when he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $642 in camping gear, beer, a car battery, clothes, food, and flashlights. • Shoplifting, 5:29 p.m. May 30, Walgreens. A shift manag- er reported a man left without paying for $315 in merchandise, including toys, lighters, toilet- ries, perfume, makeup and a flashlight. • Shoplifting, 5:35 p.m. May 30, Walmart. Maxime Isabel Cher- cover, 21, of Portland was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $54 in clothes and salmon. • Shoplifting, 6:41 p.m. May 31, Fred Meyer. A man attempted to leave the store without paying for a shopping cart that con- tained $966 in merchandise, including a camp stove, food, jewelry, clothes, bicycle equip- ment, hand warmers, and para- cords.
