The Warrenton City Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00
PM, April 27, 2021, at the Warrenton City Hall, Commission Chambers to
consider the following:
Ordinance Number 1248, Amendment to the text of Warrenton Munic-
ipal Code to insert Homestay Lodging and Vacation Rental Dwellings as
permitted or conditional uses respectively into Title 16, Division 2, Land
Use Districts, for all Residential and Commercial Uses. Amend 16.180.040
Accessory Dwelling Standards regarding rental provisions for Homestay
Lodging. City Commission’s action on the proposed text amendment is a
first reading of the ordinance. Applicable criteria for considering the pro-
posed text amendment are in Comprehensive Plan Article 10, Procedures;
in Warrenton Municipal Code section 16.208.060, Type IV Procedure (Leg-
islative and Map Amendments), and in 16.232, Amendments to Compre-
hensive Plan, Text and Map, Rezone, and Development Code.
Anyone wishing to review and/or purchase copies of the proposal and/or
staff report may do so at Warrenton City Hall, 225 South Main, (503) 861-
0920. The staff report will be available for review at no cost at least seven
days before the hearing. Anyone wishing to testify on any of these proposals
may attend the public hearing and speak to the Planning Commission, or
submit written materials, which must be received by the Warrenton Com-
munity and Economic Development Department no later than 5:00 P.M.

Oregon Equestrian Trails North
Coast Chapter has had several Pok-
er Ride events to raise funds for a
potential horse camp at Fort Ste-
vens State Park. Due to changes in
the park’s master plan, the horse
camp never came about. If you had
donated to North Coast Equestrian
Trails for this purpose, you can sub-
mit a request for a refund. Refund
requests must detail the name and
address of the donor, the date sub-
mitted, cash receipt or cancelled
check and the amount of the dona-
tion. Please mail to:
