Thefts and burglaries
• Shoplifting, 7:35 p.m. Feb.
1, Walmart. Cassandra M.
McCalip, 38, of Ilwaco, Wash.,
was arrested on suspicion of
second-degree theft, criminal
trespassing and an outstand-
ing failure to appear warrant
after she allegedly attempted
to leave the store without pay-
ing for $113 in clothes, lights,
jewelry and leather work
gloves.
• Stolen vehicle, 10:24 a.m.
Feb. 2, 1600 block Ensign
Lane. A Gearhart woman
reported her 2012 Dodge Car-
avan stolen. The vehicle was
later recovered in Vancouver,
Wash.
• Shoplifting, 4:10 p.m. Feb.
2, Walmart. David A. Clark,
51, of Ocean Park, Wash., was
cited for second-degree theft,
criminal mischief and provid-
ing false information to police
after he allegedly attempted to
leave the store without paying
for $554 in electronics, back-
packs, clothes and toiletries.
• Shoplifting, 12:04 p.m. Feb.
4, Walmart. Sean Dustin
Menard, 43, of Ocean Park,
Wash., was cited for third-de-
gree theft after he allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $81 in mer-
chandise including a head-
lamp, laundry bag, cologne,
and a face mask.
• Shoplifting, 10:50 p.m.
Feb. 5, Walmart. Melissa A.
Mayers, 26, of Ocean Park,
Wash., was cited for third-de-
gree theft after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $99 in
makeup and keychains.
• Shoplifting, 3:04 p.m. Feb. 6,
Walmart. Timothy M. Goza,
51, no known address, was
cited for third-degree theft,
criminal trespassing and crim-
inal mischief after he allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $43 in beer
and food.
• Shoplifting, 10 p.m. Feb. 6,
Walmart. Jonathan K. Mo-
reland, 28, of Tillamook was
cited for third-degree theft
and possession of a controlled
substance/methamphetamine
after he allegedly attempted to

after he allegedly attempted to
leave the store without paying
for three bottles of beer valued
at $8.49. He was booked at
Clatsop County Jail on a de-
tainer warrant.

2, Rite Aid. Jacob M. Kitzman,
29, no known address, was
cited for criminal trespassing
after he returned to the loca-
tion from which he’d previ-
ously been trespassed.
• Man drinking in parking lot,
11:55 a.m. Feb. 3, Walmart.
Christopher R. Fletcher, 43, of
Seaside was arrested on suspi-
cion of disorderly conduct, re-
sisting arrest, and interfering
with a police officer. He also
had an outstanding warrant.
He was booked at Clatsop
County Jail.
• Criminal mischief, 10:58
p.m. Feb. 3, 1000 block East
Harbor Drive. A man reported
someone slashed three of his
tires valued at $300.
• Trespassing, 9:55 p.m. Feb.
5, Panda Express. Katherine
A. Black, 33, of Reedsport
was arrested on suspicion of
criminal trespassing and on a
failure to appear warrant from
Douglas County.
• Trespassing, 10:45 a.m. Feb.
9, Rite Aid. Jacob M. Kitzman,
29, no known address, was
cited for criminal trespassing
after he again returned to the
location from which he’d pre-
viously been trespassed.

for failure to carry and present
a license, driving while sus-
pended, having no insurance
and disobeying a traffic-con-

Lane. Driver cited for failing
to install an ignition interlock
device.
• Vehicle into guardrail, 10:08

stay in her lane and operating
a vehicle while using a cell
