Teens arrested on gun charges Three teenage boys were arrested early Monday after firing a handgun near the turnaround in Seaside, police reported. They are ages 14, 15, and 16 and none lives in Clatsop County. Calls of a firearm being dis- charged on the beach came into the dispatch center at 1:09 a.m. Monday. Officers found two boys on the beach with a pistol, Sea- side police said. A third boy was found nearby in a parked vehicle and he, too, had a pis- tol. The boys were arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a firearm, recklessly endanger- ing another person, carrying a concealed weapon, and dis- orderly conduct. The Clatsop County Juve- nile Department booked the teens at a juvenile detention facility outside the county.
