Theftsand burglaries
• Shoplifting, 9:48 p.m. Oct. 23,
Fred Meyer. A woman left the
store without paying for $366 in
clothes and shoes. She was last
seen heading toward the fuel
pumps.
• Shoplifting, 9 p.m. Oct. 25,
Walmart. Jason A. Carley,
44, of Warrenton was cited
for third-degree theft after he
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for a $100
vehicle backup camera.
• Shoplifting, 11:43 a.m. Oct. 30,
Rite Aid. Michael Lee Pellham,
45, of Westport was cited for
third-degree theft after he
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for a $2
drink.
• Theft of recyclables, 4:02 p.m.
Nov. 1, Fort Stevens State Park.
Approximately $5 in cans were
taken.
• Shoplifting, 5:43 p.m. Nov. 1,
Walmart. Nicholas G. Evans, 42,
of Cannon Beach was cited for
third-degree theft and crimi-
nal mischief after he allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for a $20 jacket.
• Shoplifting, 9:16 p.m. Nov. 1,
Walmart. Nancy L. Davis, 50, of
Astoria was cited for second-de-
gree theft and criminal mischief
after she allegedly attempted to
leave the store without paying
for $130 in merchandise, includ-
ing jewelry, food and clothes.

• Welfare check, 11:22 p.m. Oct.
28, 200 block Southwest Sec-
ond St. Woman deceased in her
home.
• Man and woman physically
fighting, 10:36 p.m. Oct. 29, 400
block Northwest Ridge Road.
Daniel J. Fritz, 42, of Hammond
was arrested on suspicion of
domestic harassment.
• Trespassing, 3:11 p.m. Nov. 1,
1300 block Southeast Second
Street. Joel Seda Jr., 38, no
known address, was cited for
criminal trespassing and offen-
sive littering.
• Dog bite, 5:05 p.m. Nov.
2, Southeast Jetty Street. A
39-year-old homeless man re-
ported being bitten by a home-
less woman’s dog. The dog was
taken to county animal shelter.

• Vehicle into tree, 11:30 a.m.
Oct. 29, Costco parking lot. The
driver, a 76-year-old Warrenton
woman, mistakenly stepped
on the gas pedal instead of the
brake.
• Hit-and-run collision, no inju-
ries, 11:48 a.m. Oct. 29, Star-
bucks.
• Traffic stop, 12:45 a.m. Oct. 30,
West Harbor Street at Southeast
Gardenia Avenue. Driver cited
for driving while suspended and
having no insurance.
• Two-vehicle collision, no
injuries, 4:27 p.m. Oct. 30, Fred
Meyer parking lot.
• Traffic stop, 8:20 p.m. Oct. 30,
Harbor Drive at Galena Avenue.
Driver cited for driving without a
license and having no insurance.
• Erratic driving, 9:42 p.m. Oct.
30, Pacific Drive at Enterprise
Street. Lisa M. Lyons, 49, of
Hammond was arrested on
suspicion of driving under the
influence of intoxicants and
reckless driving. She was booked
at Clatsop County Jail, where
her blood-alcohol level was
recorded at 0.14 percent.
• Reckless driving, 2:24 a.m. Oct.
31, Northwest First Street and
Northwest Elm Avenue. Chase
D. Osborne, 21, of Astoria was
arrested on suspicion of driving
under the influence of intoxi-
cants and reckless driving. He
was booked at Clatsop County
Jail, where his blood-alcohol lev-
el was recorded at 0.17 percent.
• Traffic stop, 11:17 p.m. Oct. 31,
South Main Avenue at South-
west Fourth Street. Driver cited
for failing to install an ignition
interlock device.
• Vehicle vs. elk, no injury to
driver, 8:06 a.m. Nov. 1, Pacific
Drive near Enterprise Street.
• Traffic stop, 3:45 p.m. Nov. 11,
Ensign Lane at Warrenton High-
lands shopping center. Driver
cited for driving while suspend-
ed and having no insurance.
