Public safety calls
Walmart. Michael E. Huddle-
son, 26, of Long Beach, Wash.,
was cited for third-degree theft,
criminal mischief and criminal
trespassing after he allegedly at-
tempted to leave without paying
for $41 in lighters, arrows and a
hat.
• Shoplifting, 8:57 p.m. Sept. 6,
Walmart. Kadie I. Embury, 18,
of Astoria was cited for third-de-
gree theft after she allegedly
attempted to leave without pay-
ing for $30 in makeup and bug
repellant.
El Compadre Restaurant. Jona-
than C. Myers, 34, of Warrenton
was cited for disorderly conduct.
• Malicious mischief, 10:08 a.m. Sept.
4, 900 block East Harbor Drive.
A man reported $2,400 in damage
to his vehicle’s paint and decals from
someone throwing eggs.
• Shoplifting, 7:15 p.m. Sept. 5,
Walmart. Jason A. Carley, 44,
and Isaiah A. Carley, 22, both
of Warrenton, were cited for
third-degree theft after they
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $14 in
fishing lures and bait.
• Shoplifting, 5 p.m. Sept. 7,
Walmart. Richard W. Brook-
ing, 25, of Long Beach, Wash.,
was cited for third-degree theft,
criminal mischief and giving
a false name to a police officer
after he allegedly attempted to
leave the store without paying
for $83 in merchandise, includ-
ing a dashboard camera and
phone charger.

Sept. 2, 700 block Northwest
Warrenton Drive. A man report-
ed someone scratched his boat
and used a hammer to damage
support bars.

• Warrant service, 10:03 p.m.
Sept. 3, 100 block S.E. Neptune
Drive. Nicholas V. Ulch, 38, no
known address, was arrested on
two warrants.
• Warrant service, 4 p.m. Sept. 6,
Costco. Jonathan L. Desersa, 50,
of Durango, Colo., was arrested
on a fugitive warrant.
Thefts and burglaries
• Stolen fishing equipment, 5:25
a.m. Aug. 17, Warrenton Marina.
A Tillamook man reported seven
reels and seven rods valued at
$3,290 had been stolen.
• Shoplifting, 7:35 p.m. Aug. 30,
Walmart. Jeremy D. Mullins,
34, of Warrenton was cited for
second-degree theft after he
allegedly left the store without
paying for $354 in automotive
supplies. He was stopped a short
time later by Warrenton police.

west Ninth Street. Jonathan E.
Medina, 19, of Ogden, Utah, was
cited for criminal mischief.
• Malicious mischief, 8:13 a.m.
Sept. 4, 900 block East Har-
bor Drive. More than $12,500
in damage was reported to six
vehicles parked at a business by
someone throwing eggs.
• Trespassing, 5 p.m. Sept. 6,
Walmart. Paul L. Roebuck, 47,
no known address, was cited for
criminal trespassing.
• Vandalism, 9:09 a.m. Sept.
8, Second Street Kayak Dock.
Someone wrote BLM and made
references to Seaside in blue, red
and white paint.
Traffic
• Speeding, 8:05 p.m. Sept. 1,
Ridge Road near soccer fields.
Driver cited for going 69 in a
45 mph zone and for having no
operator’s license.
• Hit-and-run, 11:04 p.m. Sept. 1,
Northwest First Street. Vehicle
struck several garbage cans and
left the area.
• Hit-and-run, 8:58 a.m. Sept. 2,
0-100 block Northwest Birch Av-
enue. A garbage can was damaged
and pushed into a parked car.
• Vehicle vs. elk, 3:53 a.m. Sept.
3, Northwest Warrenton Drive
near Northwest Ninth Street. A
five-point bull elk was injured
and lying in the road. A sheriff’s
deputy dispatched the elk and
another driver at the scene was
allowed to salvage the meat.
• Vehicle into parked car, 4:48
p.m. Sept. 3, Walmart parking lot.
• Running a stop sign, 5:45 p.m.
Sept. 4, Harbor and Neptune
drives. Driver cited.
• Speeding, 11:45 a.m. Sept. 5,
Ridge Road at Parkview Apart-
ments. Driver cited for going 63
in a 45 mph zone.
• Speeding, 3:20 p.m. Sept. 5,
Ridge Road at Parkview Apart-
ments. Driver cited for going 65
in a 45 mph zone.
• Traffic stop, 6:36 p.m. Sept. 5,
South Main Avenue at Fourth
Street. Driver cited for driving
while suspended.
• Traffic stop, 2:30 a.m. Sept. 6,
