Ridge. Money was taken from a
purse left in the car.
• Stolen motorbike, 8:20 a.m.

Marlin Avenue.
• Shoplifting, 7:15 p.m. Aug. 13,
Walmart. Rebecca J. Tull, 43, of
Astoria was cited for third-de-
gree theft after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for a $10 box of
Sharpie markers.
• Vehicle burglary, 5:06 p.m.
Aug. 14, Hug Point. A vehicle
owner reported multiple items
taken, including a loaded pistol.

false swearing by a 37-year-old
Camas, Wash., man has been
referred to the Clatsop County
District Attorney’s Office.
• Illegal camping, 11:29 a.m. Aug.
13, 10 th Street and Ocean Shore
Boulevard, Gearhart. Camp-
ers, who had a stuck maroon
Ford Explorer, eventually left,
discarding tents, garbage and
human waste.
• Felony/prohibited person
attempting to purchase firearm,
3:18 p.m. Aug. 13, Hamlet Quick
Stop.
• Illegal camping, 4:50 a.m. Aug.
14, 600 block Southeast Marlin
Avenue. A 59-year-old man from
Pilot Rock was cited for unlawful
camping.

a rock through his car’s rear

reported the fuel line to is boat
had been slit.

• Two-vehicle collision, two inju-
ries, 12:53 p.m. Aug. 10, Ensign
Lane at 19 th Street. One driver
was citing for failing to obey a
traffic-control device. The other
driver, McKinley K. Abundiz, 26,
of Astoria, was cited for driving
while suspended. Abundiz was
taken to Columbia Memorial
Hospital for treatment.
• Two-vehicle collision, no
injuries, 12:05 p.m. Aug. 12,
Highway 101 at Ensign Lane.
David Salgado, 23, of Bonney
Lake, Wash., was cited for failing
to perform the duties of a driver
and unlawful possession of a
controlled substance.
• Traffic stop, 7:34 p.m. Aug. 12,
South Main Avenue at Southeast
13 th Street. Stormy R. Wool-
dridge, 24, of Astoria was cited
for criminal failure to carry and
present a license, and for driving
while suspended and having no
insurance.
• Reckless endangering of high-
way workers, 9:23 a.m. Aug.
13, Highway 26 at Highway 53.
Brandy L. Birge, 38, of Clacka-
mas was cited for the criminal
charge after he allegedly ignored
at least three highway caution
signs and drove around cars
waiting to be released by a road
flagger, putting crews extracting
a crashed vehicle in jeopardy.

man was uninjured when he
drove his Ford F250 into a ditch,
causing major damage to the
undercarriage.

trailer, pushing it into a pickup
