multiple warrants.

was arrested on a warrant.

14, Staples. Christine D. Ja-
mieson, 42, no known address,

Seaside. Samantha A. Manz, 28,

on multiple felony warrants.
She also was booked for posses-
sion of more than two grams of
methamphetamine, possession
of less than one gram of heroin
and providing false information

•Shoplifting, 6:30 p.m. July 14,
Fred Meyer. Timothy E. Wood-
ward, 35, of Astoria was cited
for third-degree theft after he
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $110 in
DVDs. Three hours later, he was
cited at Walmart for attempting
to leave the store with $71 in
• Shoplifting, 6:30 p.m. July 16,
Home Depot. Jimmy L. Nickell,
44, of Ocean Park, Wash., was
cited for second-degree theft
and criminal mischief after he
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $284 in
tools.

17, Hug Point State Park. While
on the beach, a woman began
receiving alerts from financial
institutions regarding the fraud-
ulent use of her credit cards. She
returned to her car and found
the passenger-side window bro-
ken and her purse missing.
• Shoplifting, 7:14 p.m. July 16,
Walmart. Heidi L. Anfinson,
30, of Warrenton was cited
for second-degree theft and
criminal trespassing after she
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $102 in
merchandise, including an air
mattress.
• Shoplifting, 7:13 p.m. July 19,
Walmart. Stephen A. Smith,
54, of Seattle was cited for
second-degree theft after he
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $175 in
camping gear, pillowcases and
socks.

firearm, 10:38 a.m. July 16,
Cannon Beach Surf and Mercan-
tile. The individual attempted to
purchase firearms three times at
two different locations.
• Suspicious circumstances,
8:33 a.m. July 17, 300 block
Southwest First Street. A woman
reported someone was turning
on her garden hose and letting it
run all night.
• Domestic assault, 7:44 p.m.
July 18, 100 block Alternate
Highway 101. Steven Michael
Wolf, 43, no known address, was
arrested on suspicion of tres-
passing, assault and escape from
custody.
• Domestic assault, 5:06 p.m.
July 20, Sunset Beach access.
No injuries and the five people
involved were released after
investigation.

•Injured owl in road, 8:29 p.m.
July 15, Ridge Road near KOA. A
resident kept the bird safe until
an animal rehabilitation center
could pick it up.
• Loud rooster, 5:25 a.m. July 18,
900 block King Salmon Place.
Owners were cited for violating
the city’s noise ordinance after
two neighbors complained. A
second call with the same com-
plaint was lodged at 5:55 a.m.

Ridge Road at Parkview Apart-
ments. Driver cited for driving
while suspended.
• Traffic stop, 8:48 p.m. July
14, Highway 101 at Southeast
Marlin Avenue. Driver cited for
driving while suspended and
having no insurance.
• Drunken driving, 12:06 a.m.
July 15, Highway 104 at Whiskey
Road. Maria Avelar-Hinojosa,
50, of Warrenton was arrested
on suspicion of driving under
the influence of intoxicants. Her
blood-alcohol level was recorded
at 0.10 percent.
• Traffic stop, 6:44 p.m. July 15,
Chinook Street at Eighth Ave-
nue. Tiffany A. Morton, 38, of
Warrenton was cited for crimi-
nal driving while suspended and
having no insurance.
• Two-vehicle collision, no
injuries, 3 p.m. July 16, Ridge
Road at Peter Iredale Road. One
driver cited for failure to obey a
traffic-control device.
• Two-vehicle collision, no inju-
ries, 5:17 p.m. July 16, Highway
101 at Ensign Lane. One driver
cited for following too closely.
• Crashed vehicle found, 9:44
a.m. July 17, Highway 26 at Sad-
dle Mountain turnoff. A black
Mitsubishi Lancer was found by
Oregon Department of Trans-
portation workers crashed over
the embankment and into trees.
Neither occupants nor the vehi-
cle owner, a 23-year-old Tigard
woman, were found at the scene.
• Two-vehicle collision, one in-
jury, 7:38 p.m. July 17, Highway
101 at Marlin Avenue. One driver
cited for driving while suspend-
ed and having no insurance.
• Two-vehicle collision, no inju-
ries, 5:40 p.m. July 17, Harbor
Drive near Shilo Inn.
• Hit-and-run, 5:57 p.m. July
17, Arcadia Beach State Park.
When the driver of the vehicle
that was struck returned to his
Honda Odyssey, he confronted
the offending driver who left
without exchanging insurance
information.
• Mail truck collision with van,
no injuries, 2:05 p.m. July 17,
