• Shoplifting, 5:40 p.m. June 16,
Fred Meyer. Timothy M. Goza,
50, no known address, was cited
for third-degree theft after he
allegedly attempted twice to
leave the store without paying
for a can of beer. Store security
reported it was the fourth inci-
dent of the day of alcohol theft
by the man.
• Shoplifting, 6:50 p.m. June 20,
Walmart. Two men reportedly
made their way through the
store concealing items in totes,
removing spider wrap from
high-cost electronics and using
a magnet tool to unlock security
devices. When one man made
his way out the grocery exit, he
was confronted by security and
ran back into the store and out
an alarmed security exit. The
second man, Kimberly A. Pat-
terson, 50, of Lacey, Wash., was
cited for attempted second-de-
gree theft and providing false
information to a peace officer.
Patterson is suspected of failing
to pay for $471 in merchandise.
• Shoplifting, 2:43 p.m. June 23,
Walmart. Ashley R. DiGirolamo,
26, of Vancouver, Wash., was
cited for second-degree theft

Wash., was arrested on suspi-
cion of driving under the influ-

driver reported another driver
threw a hard object that struck
her vehicle.

a.m. June 27, Harbor Drive at
Youngs Bay Plaza. As a woman
driving a gray Toyota RAV 4
pulled from the plaza into traffic
queued in the left-turn lane,
another driver in a burgundy
sport-utility vehicle pulled out
of the line and hit the woman’s
driver’s door panel before driv-
ing away.
• Bicycle struck by vehicle, 11:19
a.m. June 28, North Main Av-
enue at Northeast First Street.
Several kids were riding bicycles
on the shoulder when one of
them ran over an object and lost
control, swerving into traffic,
according to a report. The boy
jumped from the bike before it
was struck and then all of the
kids rode away before an officer
arrived.
