Conveying hope at Easter The Columbia Press Easter can mean many things to Americans and Christians around the world. For some, it is a day celebrating spring’s arrival, life’s renewal and the arrival of beloved decorations and tra- ditions, such as Easter baskets and egg hunts. For Christians, it is the most sacred of holidays, a grateful celebration of Jesus’ resurrection after dying for this sinful world. The Columbia Press asked local ministers to tell us a bit about themselves and offer some Easter hope for those suffering during COVID-related isolation.
