$20 bill sometime during the

March 4, 1000 block Northwest
Warrenton Drive. A man report-
ed a 10-foot trailer was missing
from his home.
• Shoplifting, 7:50 p.m. March 5,
Walmart. Cory Steven Holland,
28, of Tillamook was cited for
third-degree theft and crimi-
nal mischief after he allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $66 in lights
and men’s accessories.
• Shoplifting, 8:36 p.m. March 5,
Walmart. Brittany Marie Allen,
22, of Rockaway was cited for
second-degree theft and crimi-
nal mischief after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store with-
out paying for $499 in merchan-
dise, including a child’s motor-
ized all-terrain vehicle, diapers
and a stroller.
• Shoplifting, 12:20 p.m. March
7, Fred Meyer. Nicole Danielle
Bowers, 24, of Warrenton was
cited for second-degree theft
and criminal mischief after she
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $242 in
makeup, toiletries and food.
• Shoplifting, 11:27 p.m. March 7,
Walmart. Gretchen Beth Brooks,
42, of Astoria was cited for
third-degree theft and crimi-
nal mischief after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $21 in leggings
and underwear.
• Shoplifting, 9:12 a.m. March
8, Walmart. Jonathan Edward
Walgren, 29, no known address,
was cited for third-degree theft
and trespassing after he alleged-
ly attempted to leave the store
without paying for a breakfast
sandwich. He’d previously been
trespassed from the store. The as-
sistant store manager purchased
the sandwich for Walgren.
• Shoplifting, 5 p.m. March 8,
Walmart. Sarah Ann Maples, 31,
of Seaside was cited for third-de-
gree theft after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $52 in mark-
ers and gloves.

• Disturbance, 6:39 p.m. March 4,
0-100 block Northwest Gardenia
Avenue. A man’s family, who has
a restraining order against him,
reported the man had returned to
their residence and was throwing
things. Michael Allen Meeuwsen,
29, of Warrenton was arrested
and booked at Clatsop County
Jail.
• Bobcat attacking a dog, 5:45 a.m.
March 7, 4400 block Commercial
St., Astoria. Bobcat fled after be-
ing shot by resident with BB gun;
dog in good condition. (OSP)
• Audible burglar alarm, 5:33
a.m. March 9, Warrenton Grade
School. The head custodian was
contacted at the school, who
reported the alarm was set off ac-
cidentally by an arriving teacher.
• Unlawful purchase of a firearm,
2:36 p.m. March 10, Gun & Boot
& Gear, Astoria. A 63-year-old
Hammond man on probation was
cited; case referred to the District

• Road-rage incident, 12:41 p.m.
Feb. 28, Highway 101 Business
at High Life Lane. A 44-year-old
Warrenton woman driving with
her teenage daughter reported
that a man in a 2006 Mercedes
threw a glass bottle at them.
Police stopped a car matching the
description with a couple from
Ilwaco ages 20 and 21 and an
infant. The case is under investi-
gation.
• Speeding, 4:36 p.m. March 3,
Ridge Road near Parkview Apart-
ments. Driver cited for going 71 in
a 45 mph zone.
• Vehicle into stump, 12:55 p.m.
March 5, Highway 101 at Old
Weigh Station Road, Gearhart.
Driver Scott S. Powell, 73, of
Seaside was taken to Providence
Seaside Hospital for treatment of

March 5, Highway 101 at Alter-
nate Highway 101. Driver cited
for careless driving, driving while
suspended and failing to install
an ignition interlock device.
• Speeding, 1:05 p.m. March 7,
Ridge Road near KOA. Driver cit-
ed for going 65 in a 45 mph zone.
• Two-vehicle collision, no inju-
ries, 1:40 p.m. March 7, Highway
101 at Beerman Creek Lane,

March 7, Hammond Mooring
Basin. Travis James Wagers, 30,
of Hammond was arrested on
suspicion of driving under the
influence of intoxicants. He was
booked at Clatsop County Jail,
where his blood-alcohol content
was recorded at 0.16 percent.
• Drunken driving, 3:20 a.m.
March 8, 200 block of Southwest
Second Street. Tara A. Massey,
34, of Warrenton was arrested on
suspicion of driving under the in-
fluence of intoxicants, interfering
with a peace officer and resisting
arrest. She was booked at Clatsop
County Jail, where her blood-al-
cohol content was recorded at
0.17 percent.
• Traffic stop, 1:47 p.m. March 8,
Highway 26 at Raghorn Road.
Jessica Marie Bouvia, 36, of
Seaside was booked at Clatsop
County Jail after it was discov-
ered she had two active arrest
warrants. (OSP)
• Vehicle into pole with injury,
3:20 p.m. March 8, East Harbor
Drive.
• Two-vehicle collision, one inju-
ry, 3:38 p.m. March 8, Highway
104 at Delaura Beach Lane. One
driver cited for following too
closely. The second driver com-
plained of pain.
