Rosselot, 35, no known address,
was arrested on a Washington
state warrant. She was booked at
Clatsop County Jail.
• Warrant service, 5:16 a.m.
Jan. 9, 0-100 block Northwest
Gardenia Avenue. Debra Kay
Meeuwsen, 58, of Astoria was
arrested on a failure to appear
warrant and booked at Clatsop
County Jail.

• Attempted burglary, 9:03 a.m.
Dec. 28, 1200 block Southeast
Jetty Avenue. A woman with a
Ring device reported the camera
captured a male wearing a green
coat and hood attempt to break
into her home at 2:30 a.m. and
also looked under the mat for a
key.
• Burglary, 9:01 p.m. Jan. 3, 100
block West Harbor Street. A
man reported a male just broke
the glass in his front door with a
hammer. The burglar was gone
when police arrived.
• Male screaming, 11:49 a.m. Jan.
4, First Street and Northwest
Cedar Court. Brian Quaschnick,
48, no known address, was taken
into custody and identified as the
suspect in the Jan. 3 burglary on
West Harbor. He was booked at
Clatsop County Jail on suspicion
of disorderly conduct, criminal
mischief and burglary.
• Shoplifting, 7 p.m. Jan. 6,
Walmart. Robert V. Martin, 24,
of Seaside was cited for third-de-
gree theft after he allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for a knife and
car decals valued at $17.
• Burglary to commercial fishing
vessel, noon Jan. 7, Warrenton
Marina. The boat’s owner report-
ed someone entered his boat and
stole a coat and six to eight cans
of food. He also found a syringe
in the bunk area.
• Burglary to commercial fish-
ing vessel, 10:52 a.m. Jan. 10,
Warrenton Marina. A man
reported someone was attempt-
ing to break into a boat. Timothy
Michael Goza, 50, of Astoria, who
matched the description, was
arrested a short distance away on
a detainer warrant from Clatsop
County Parole. He was booked
at Clatsop County Jail, where
his blood-alcohol content was
recorded at 0.19 percent.
• Shoplifting, 2:17 p.m. Dec. 23,
Fred Meyer. Colleen Frances
Casper, 40, of Astoria was cited

• Shoplifting, 2 p.m. Jan. 8,
Walmart. Frederick C. Vermilyea,
41, of Tillamook was cited for sec-
ond-degree theft after he allegedly
attempted to leave the store with-
out paying for $105 in tools.
• Burglary of work trailer, 8:54
a.m. Jan. 10, 0-100 block Kalmia
Avenue. A man reported $1,636
is tools were stolen during the
night.
• Shoplifting, 5:42 p.m. Jan. 10,
Fred Meyer. Gabriel R. Goza,
26, of Warrenton was cited
for third-degree theft after he
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $14 in
ice cream and beer.
• Vehicle burglary, 10:37 p.m.
Jan. 12, 800 block Fifth Avenue,
Hammond. A woman reported
someone stole $163 in cash, mar-
ijuana, and a backpack.
• Attempted burglary, 3:37 p.m.
Jan. 13, 0-100 block Galena Ave-
nue. A woman reported someone
damaged the entry door to a
travel trailer in an attempt to get
inside.
• Theft, 11:56 p.m. Jan. 14, Beer-
man Creek Lane and U Avenue,
Seaside. Lonny Alan Baker,
30, was cited on warrants for
second-degree theft and failure to
appear from Warrenton Munici-
pal Court.

Jan. 3, Fred Meyer. Someone
threw a rock through the window
on the home goods side of the
store.
• Two men fighting, 5:32 p.m.
Jan. 5, Walmart parking lot.
Police stopped a vehicle carrying
one of the subjects, who had a
bloody nose. The victim’s girl-
friend told officers her ex-boy-
friend had struck the vehicle with
an object or his fists and also got
into a physical fight with her new
boyfriend, who did not want to
press charges.
• Aggressive panhandler, 8:36
p.m. Jan. 7, Fred Meyer. Juan
I. Ruvalcaba, 33, of Seaside was
arrested on a warrant out of Mar-
ion County.
• Dog at large, 11 a.m. Jan. 11,
0-100 block Southwest Juniper
Avenue. Owner cited.
• Disturbance, 6:17p.m. Jan. 12,
1400 block Northwind Court,
Hammond. Norris Alden Jones,
51, no known address, was ar-
rested on a variety of charges and
booked at Clatsop County Jail.
• Fuel or oil spill, 9:51 a.m. Jan.
13, Commercial Dock, Warrenton
Marina. Coast Guard Incident
Response Team was unable to
locate the source.

101 in Svenson. An 84-year-old
Astoria woman was taken to Co-
lumbia Memorial Hospital after
being extricated from her white
Buick Century.

• Traffic stop, 5:56 p.m. Jan. 12,
