area. A man reported his $700
mountain bike was stolen from
outside his yurt.

Dec. 9, 200 block Southwest
Alder Avenue. A man reported
someone stole prescription med-
ication from his home.

Walmart. Chrissy Lynn Nakon-
sky, 46, of Cathlamet, Wash.,
was cited for third-degree theft
and criminal mischief after she
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $38 in

Fred Meyer bus stop. A 42-year-
old man with no known address
and two dogs was trespassed
from the location after people
reported he was harassing bus
riders.
• Trespassing, 12:13 p.m. Dec. 7,
Auto Zone. Mitchell D. Simon-
sen, 35, of Hammond was cited
for criminal trespassing after he
returned to the store where he’d
previously been trespassed.
• Disturbance, 12:38 a.m. Dec. 9,
0-100 block Northeast Har-
bor Court. Christopher Joseph
Bernhardt, 35, of Warrenton was
arrested on a warrant; Hannah
Louise Havranek, 28, no known
address, was arrested on suspi-
cion of creating a disturbance.

9, 800 block Southeast Marlin
Avenue. Steven Eugene Bent-
sen, 33, no known address, was
booked at Clatsop County Jail
for criminal trespassing and
resisting arrest.

Ninth Street. Anna E. Smith,
18, of Warrenton was cited for
hitting a city street sign, failing
to carry and present a license;
failing to perform the duties of
a driver by refusing to provide
information to owners of a tree
and mailbox that were struck;
driving without insurance; and
driving without an operator’s
license.

• Speeding, 11:52 a.m. Dec. 6,
Ridge Road near Parkview
Apartments. Driver cited for
going 65 in a 45 mph zone.
• Vehicle vs. motorcycle, one
injury, Dec. 6, Highway 101 at
Camp Rilea.
• Pickup truck into wooden fence,
1:40 a.m. Dec. 7, 100 block
Southwest Birch Court. Cameron
Michael King, 20, of Seaside was
arrested on suspicion of driving
under the influence of intoxi-
cants/drugs, hit-and-run with
property damage, and minor
in possession of alcohol while
operating a vehicle.
• Vehicle vs. elk, 5:30 p.m. Dec.
7, Northwest Warrenton Drive
at Northwest Ninth St. The elk
was injured and put down at the
scene.
• Reckless driving, 4:10 p.m. Dec.
7, Lake Drive in Hammond. Po-
lice responding to a complaint of
a driver unable to maintain his
lane witnessed the driver collide
with a parked car in a driveway
and followed him. Kenneth P.
Nielsen, 72, of Hammond was
arrested on suspicion of driving
under the influence of intox-
icants, failing to perform the
duties of a driver and reckless
driving. He was booked at
Clatsop County Jail, where his
blood-alcohol level was recorded
at 0.17 percent.
