One of the jerseys was pur-
chased by a former War-
renton High School football
player who lives in New Jer-
sey. He donated $50.
“People didn’t even know
they wanted one, but when
they got done talking to me,
they had to buy two,” joked
Lula Carlton.
Vice Principal Ian O’Brien
liked the idea so much that
when another bag filled
with old jerseys was found,
he made sure it was passed
along to Kirby and her crew.
