• Bicycle theft, 2:03 p.m. Sept. 5,
Fort Stevens State Park camp-
ground. A man reported his
$2,000 black Surly bicycle was
stolen during the night from his
site.
• Burglary, 7 a.m. Sept. 6, 1000
block Southeast Marlin Ave. A
business owner reported thieves
stole eight trailer brake batteries
from vehicles parked at the busi-
ness. Total loss was estimated at
$200.

Walmart. A man who was drink-
ing alcohol refused to put it away
when store personnel asked.
Everado Machuca Cuevas, 56, of
Astoria was cited for providing
false information to police and
removed from the location.
• Trespassing, 12:25 a.m. Sept. 8,
Walmart. Jared Curtis Cupit, 44,
no known address, was cited for
criminal trespassing.
