56, of Silverton was arrested on
a failure to appear warrant from
Columbia County.

• Bicycle theft, 6:06 p.m. June
27, Fort Stevens State Park. A
man reported the theft from his
campsite of a 2006 navy moun-
tain bike valued at $200.
• Vehicle burglary, 3:06 p.m.
June 28, 100 block Southwest
Gardenia Ave. A man reported
his $200 Leupold binoculars
were taken.
• Shoplifting, 9 p.m. June 29,
Walmart. Lisa D. Underhill, 37,
of Seaside was cited for third-de-
gree theft after she allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $95 in pens
and craft items.
• Shoplifting, 3:30 p.m. July 1,
Walmart. Jessie Nicole Robles,
26, of Warrenton was cited
for third-degree theft after she
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $60 in
clothes.
• Theft of services, 7:50 p.m. July
1, 2000 block Southeast Azalea
Drive. Someone reported a large
amount of garbage put in their
trash bin, a loss of $100 for pick-
up service.
• Burglary, 8:12 a.m. July 3,
information kiosk at Fort Ste-
vens State Park. Someone used
a 10-pound bag of ice from the
sales bin to break a window and
gain entry. Nothing taken, but
window was valued at $300.
• Shoplifting, 11:02 p.m. July 6,
Walmart. Joshua Davis Alder-
son, 45, of Seaside was cited for
second-degree theft and posses-
sion of methamphetamine after
he allegedly attempted to leave
the store without paying for $151
in clothes.
• Shoplifting, 10:12 p.m. July 8,
Walmart. Joel M. Licari, 25, of
Astoria was cited for third-de-
gree theft after he allegedly
attempted to leave the store
without paying for $63 in shoes
and clothes.

• Disorderly conduct, 5:41 p.m.
July 1, near mattress store on
Discovery Lane. A man with a
German shepherd was loud and
animated, yelling at the public,
his girlfriend and officers off and
on for several hours. Paul Wes-
ley Huck, 29, no known address,
was booked at Clatsop County
Jail for disorderly conduct.
• Criminal mischief, 8:02 a.m.
July 2, gazebo at Robinson Com-
munity Park. Someone damaged
a sink and put graffiti on the
table and walls. Damage was
estimated at $700.
• Littering, 9:36 p.m. July 3,
1400 block Discovery Lane. A
woman was going through garb-
abge bins behind the Verizon
store and leaving trash all over.
She agreed to leave the area.
• Dog at large, 6:35 p.m. July 6,
Southwest Elm and First Street.
Owner cited.
• Trespassing, 8:20 p.m. July 8,
Walmart. Zane Cruz Belshe, 57,
with no known address was cited
for criminal trespassing after
he returned to the store where
he’d been trespassed in March.
Belshe purchased bottled water
with an Oregon food benefits
card and was dumping it out so
he could turn in the empties to
obtain cash for the bus, he told
officers.

28, Highway 101 at Neptune
Avenue. One driver cited for
following too closely and driving
without insurance.
• Hit-and-run, 6:58 a.m. July 2,
Peter Iredale parking lot, Fort
Stevens State Park.
• Two-vehicle collision with inju-
ries, 9:09 a.m. July 2, Highway
104 at Ocean Crest.
• Hit-and-run, 4:05 p.m. July 2,
Fred Meyer parking lot.
• Traffic stop, 8:11 a.m. July 4,
Southwest Ninth Street and
Ridge Road. Driver cited for
having no operator’s license and
no insurance.
• Speeding, 7:55 p.m. July 4,
Ridge Road near Parkview
Apartments. Driver cited for
going 65 in a 45 mph zone.
• Traffic stop, 11:06 p.m. July 4,
four-way stop. Driver cited for
driving while suspended.
• Speeding, 11:45 p.m. July 4,
Highway 101 near Marlin Ave-
nue. Driver cited for having no
operator’s license and going 71
in a 45 mph zone.

July 5, Northwest Warrenton
Drive at Northwest Ninth Street.
Matthew R. Harrington, 33,
of Warrenton was arrested on
suspicion of driving under the
influence of intoxicants, criminal
driving while suspended and
reckless endangerment. He was
booked at Clatsop County Jail
where his blood-alcohol content
was recorded at 0.18 percent.
• Hit-and-run, 1:30 p.m. July 5,
Marlin Avenue at Highway 101.
• Traffic stop, 8:05 p.m. July
5, Ridge Road near cemetery.
Driver cited for driving while
suspended.
• Vehicle vs animal, 9:53 p.m.
July 5, Harbor and Heron drives.
• Two-vehicle crash, no injuries,
10:08 p.m. July 6, Highway 101
at Ensign Lane.
• Two-vehicle rear-end collision,
12:03 p.m. July 7, 100 block
North Main Avenue. One driver
cited for following too closely
and was taken to Columbia
Memorial Hospital for treatment
of injuries.
• Traffic stop, 9:09 p.m. July 7,
500 block Ridge Road. Driver cit-
ed for driving while suspended.
• Traffic stop, 11:29 p.m. July 7,
Ensign Lane at Highway 101.
Driver cited for driving while
suspended and having no insur-
ance. A passenger was cited for
permitting an unlicensed driver
to operate a vehicle.
