Hiking club sets
under-town tour
If you’ve ever wanted to
take an underground tour
of Astoria, but didn’t want
to go alone, consider Satur-
day’s Angora Hiking Club
event.
Two local guides with a
love of Astoria and a pas-
sion for the tunnels’ mys-
teries will lead the tour. Ad-
mission is $15 per person.
Hikers will be escorted
through the tunnels safely
while getting an entertain-
ing history.
The walk is less than
an hour along clear easy
pathways on one level. If
you plan to attend, email
walk leader Arline LaMear
at cliffandarline@msn.com.
Participants do not have to
be club members.
