Maddox studio presents three student recitals
Maddox Dance Studio will
present three student dance
recitals June 15 and 16 in
the auditorium at Astoria
High School, 1001 W. Marine
Drive.
The first performance, at 2
p.m. Saturday, features young
intermediate students to ad-
vanced teenagers and young
adults. The diverse program
includes a can-can by danc-
ers from Little Ballet Theatre,
“Why We Tell the Story” from
the Broadway musical Once
Upon an Island, and a history
of tap dance that includes the
waltz clog.
The second show at 6:30
p.m. Saturday, will highlight
pre-teens through adult danc-
ers in contemporary, hip-hop,
ballet, tap and acro-dance. Se-
lections include “White Win-
ter Hymnal,” the Main Street
Tappers in “On Broadway”
and the senior musical theater
performing “The Boy From
New York City.” Graduating
senior Nara Van De Grift also
will perform.

The third show is set for 2
p.m. Sunday and focus on
the budding talents of the
Creative Movement classes
(ages 3-6), plus an appear-
ance by the Little Ballet The-
atre dancers in “The Waltz in
E Minor” and the senior tap
dancers performing a variety
of steps.

Falcon Cove Beach Domestic Water Supply District
Notice of Adoption of Ordinance 201901
On 24 May 2019, the Board of the Falcon Cove Beach Domestic Water
Supply District (FCBDWSD) met at the Arch Cape Fire Station for a duly
noticed Special Board Meeting at which time the FCBDWSD Board voted
unanimously to Adopt Ordinance 201901 which is an Ordinance amend-
ing a prior Adopted Ordinance (201801) by adding the word “Excessive”,
adding clause H. = “Exceed any limitations on water use imposed by the
Board”, and adding the sentence:
“By majority vote, the Board may adopt policies and establish rates,
charges, and penalties as needed to implement and enforce this Ordinance”
This Ordinance is effective Immediately (5/24/2019). A copy of this Or-
dinance is available upon request from the Water District (please request
by email = FCBDWD@gmail.com) or available for Public Inspection at the
County Clerk’s office for Clatsop or Tillamook counties.
Warrenton City Hall is accessible to the disabled. An in-
terpreter for the hearing impaired may be requested under
the terms of ORS 192.630 by contacting Dawne Shaw, City
Recorder, at 503-861-0823 at least 48 hours in advance of
