Salmon Place. Dennis James
Wentz, 48, with no known ad-
dress, was arrested on a Clatsop
County parole violation detainer
warrant.
• Warrant service, 2:11 p.m.
March 28, 0-100 block South-
west Main Court. Teddy Ray
Slate, 41, of Warrenton was ar-
rested on a felony warrant from
Clackamas County.

• Shoplifting, 6:26 p.m. March
25, Walmart. Craig Michael
Stephens, 44, of Garibaldi and
Sabrina J. Tomeoni, 30, of
Tillamook were cited for crimi-
nal third-degree theft after they
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $100 in
clothes, an air gun and a torch
tool. Stephens also was charged
with criminal mischief for dam-
aging merchandise packaging.
• Shoplifting, 3:45 p.m. March
28, Fred Meyer. Nicholas Ryan
Garrett, 28, of Warrenton was
cited for criminal second-degree
theft after he allegedly attempt-
ed to leave the store without
paying for $110 in jeans and
shoes.
• Vehicle burglary, 8:45 a.m.
March 29, 300 block Southwest
Kalmia Avenue. A man reported
that someone entered his truck
during the night and stole a
$500 HP laptop. The computer
was recovered the following day
at a home on Southwest First
Place. The couple who lived on
First Place had been stopped by
another officer about the time of
the burglary on the street where
the laptop had been stolen.
• Theft of news rack, 2:49 p.m.
March 29, Arnie’s Café. Some-
one stole the yellow Oregonian
newspaper rack valued at $750.
• Shoplifting, 4 p.m. March 29,
Walmart. Jessica I. Weatherly,
28, of Warrenton was cited for
attempted third-degree theft,
criminal mischief and criminal
trespassing. She and another
woman ran from the store when
approached by store security,
but were stopped a short dis-
tance away by police. Weatherly
has nine prior theft cases at
Walmart stores and has been
trespassed previously from all
Walmart properties, according
to a police report.
• Theft of glass floats, 3:39 p.m.
March 31, 1400 block South-
west Oak Drive. A man reported
two large Japanese glass floats
valued at $300 were stolen from
his porch.
• Theft, 5:50 p.m. March 31,
Walmart. Colleen M. Baughman,
34, of Warrenton was cited for
third-degree theft and crimi-
nal mischief after she allegedly
attempted to ring up $26 in
clothes at the self-scan area
using a $1 sales tag.
• Shoplifting, 7 p.m. April 1,
Walmart. Jessica Lynn Rus-
sell, 28, of Astoria was cited for
third-degree theft and criminal
mischief after she allegedly at-
tempted to leave the store with-
out paying for $93 in sporting
goods merchandise.

During service of a trespassing
notice at a homeless camp, Ash-
ley Marie Holmes, 27, of Seaside
was arrested on a Clatsop Coun-
ty Circuit Court warrant.
• Graffiti on a street sign, 6:53
p.m. March 31, Ridge Road near
soccer fields.
• Graffiti on a street sign, 4:30
p.m. April 1, Seventh Avenue
near Gray Street, Hammond.

March 26, Harbor Drive at Her-
on. David Engblom, 66, of As-
toria was arrested on suspicion
of driving under the influence
of intoxicants. He was booked
at Clatsop County Jail, where
his blood-alcohol content was
recorded at 0.12 percent.
• Expired plates, 8:02 a.m.
March 27, Highway 101 at Nep-
tune. Driver cited.
• Speeding, 8:05 a.m. March 30,
South Main Avenue at South-
west 14th Place. Driver cited for
going 52 in a 35 mph zone.
• Failure to drive in lane, 11:33
a.m. March 30, Ensign and Dis-
covery lanes. Driver cited.
