Warrenton Marina. A man
reported a license plate was
removed from his pickup during
the four days he was on his boat
fishing.
• Theft by fraud, 4:12 p.m. Jan.
27, Home Depot. John Ethan
Osburn, 41, of Gearhart was ar-
rested on suspicion of third-de-
gree theft after he allegedly took
items off the shelf and attempted
to obtain a refund for them at
the customer service window.
• Shoplifting, 4:36 p.m. Jan. 27,
Walmart. Brittaney D. Wood-
fork, 25, of Redmond was cited
for criminal third-degree theft
and criminal mischief after she
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $99 in
clothes and lighters.
• Auto burglary and criminal
mischief, 7:51 a.m. Jan. 31 War-
renton Kia. During the night,
three new vehicles and two used
vehicles were broken into. Video
surveillance is being reviewed.
• Shoplifting, 3:01 p.m. Feb. 1,
Walmart. Robert M. Swehla,
32, of Svensen was cited for
criminal third-degree theft
and criminal mischief after he
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $49 in
merchandise.
• Shoplifting, 11:55 p.m. Feb. 2,
Walmart. Krysta Nichole Schlut-
er, 21, of Warrenton was cited
for third-degree theft after she
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for mer-
chandise.
• Stolen bicycle, 12:02 p.m. Feb.
3, 500 block Pacific Drive. A bur-
gundy Northern Ridge Dynacraft
Mountain Bike was taken from
outside an apartment.

25, Warrenton Waterfront Trail
at Southeast Third Street. Near-
by residents accused a 31-year-
old transient of urinating and
defecating in the small public
park along Skipanon River.
The man agreed to use public
restrooms a few blocks away in
the future.
• Assault, 5:24 p.m. Jan. 26,
Walmart. Joseph M. Gruhlkey,
31, of Astoria was arrested on
suspicion of fourth-degree
assault.
• Public urination, 10:41 p.m.
Jan. 28, Walmart. James M.
Morse, 31, of Astoria was cited
for criminal disorderly conduct
and was trespassed from the
property after Walmart’s securi-
ty staff caught him urinating in
the parking lot.
