WARRENTON-HAMMOND SCHOOL DISTRICT IS SEEKING
BUDGET COMMITTEE APPLICANTS
The Warrenton-Hammond School District is hereby taking applications
for Budget Committee members.
The budget committee will have the responsibility for reviewing the fi-
nancial program of the district, reviewing the proposed district budget as
presented by the superintendent and recommending an annual or biennial
district budget in keeping with the provisions of applicable state laws.

Members are appointed by the Board of Directors

Members must live and be registered to vote in the Warrenton-Ham-
mond School District
•
Members must not be an officer, agent or employee of the Warren-
ton-Hammond School District
•
Members normally serve a three-year term, but some positions are
completing other terms of office and may be shorter in duration.

annual meeting Oct. 7-10 in
Clatsop County, where the
object of the expedition’s
mission, the Pacific Coast,
was finally reached.
Each year, the Lewis and
Clark Trail Heritage Founda-
tion selects a trail location for
a gathering of approximately
150 enthusiasts from around
the country. Foundation
members research and inter-
pret the saga.
The theme of the Astoria
meeting is “Arrival at the Pa-
cific: Object Achieved.”

in the conference, which in-
cludes four days of work-
shops, site visits and living
history.

The Board of Directors of the War-
renton-Hammond School District
No. 30 is actively seeking one ap-
plicant to serve on the school dis-
trict’s Board of Directors, Position
4, through June 30, 2019.
Any interested citizen, who is a res-
ident of the Warrenton-Hammond
School District for at least one year
immediately preceding the appoint-
ment, is invited to submit an appli-
