1, Dollar Tree. Two counterfeit
$20 bills were found by the bank
in the night deposit. Investigation
concluded Sept. 5 and information
turned over to U.S. Secret Service.

5, Walmart. Kaitlyn R. Hanson,
23, of Warrenton was cited for
criminal interfering with an officer
and resisting arrest and for illegal
camping.

• Shoplifting, 3:20 p.m. Aug. 29,
Walmart. Shawn M. Hall, 41, and
Natasha A. Fleming, 36, both with
no known address, were arrested
on suspicion of third-degree theft
after each left the store without
paying for miscellaneous items.
Hall also was arrested on a felony
warrant from Clatsop County.
• Shoplifting, 7 p.m. Aug. 31,
Walmart. Frank R. Nimz, 37, with
no known address, was arrested
on suspicion of second-degree
theft and third-degree criminal
mischief after he left the store
without paying for $700 in camp-
ing gear and food.
• Shoplifting, 5:41 p.m. Sept. 1,
Walmart. David R. Keaton, 32,
of Milton-Freewater, Wash., was
arrested on suspicion of third-de-
gree theft after he left the store
without paying for $40 in automo-
bile products.
• Theft of services, 10:15 a.m. Sept.
5, KOA. Blair W. Dunham, 33, of
Rathdrum, Idaho, was arrested on
suspicion of theft after staying in
the campground without paying.
• Theft of cans, 11:50 a.m. Sept. 5,
Main Street Market. Zane Cruz
Belshe, 56, with no known address
was arrested on suspicion of
third-degree theft and on a felony
warrant from Clatsop County
Sheriff’s Office, a felony warrant
from Oregon State Parole Board
and restricted warrants from War-
renton and Pacific County Sheriff’s
Office.
• Shoplifting, 9 p.m. Sept. 5,
Walmart. Paul Henry Johnson, 21,
of Ilwaco was arrested on suspi-
cion of third-degree theft and sec-
ond-degree criminal mischief after
he allegedly damaged packaging
on several items and attempted to
leave the store without paying.
• Stolen cell phone, 6:10 p.m. Sept.
8. A woman working in the area

were returned to Walmart.
• Aggressive elk, 3:39 p.m. Aug. 31,
Lake and Pacific drives. Assistance
rendered to family on bicycles that
was blocked by elk herd.
• Litering and illegal camping, 10
a.m. Sept 1, Shilo Inn parking lot.
• Chihuahua at large, 11:07 a.m.
Sept. 1, 1400 block Southeast 12th
Place. Owner warned to keep dog
in yard or on leash.
• Cow at large, 6:30 p.m. Sept.

Street. Cow jumped back behind
the fence as officer drove by. Own-

ry Marshall, 33, of Astoria was
arrested on a parole and probation
detainer warrant.

rested on a misdemeanor warrant

ambulance to Columbia Memorial
Hospital for treatment of injuries.

towed after tagged with 24-hour
notice.
