previous evening. The neighbor

9, Doogers. A man in his 30s or
40s ate oysters and drank two
beers and then left the restau-
rant without paying, fleeing on a
bicycle toward Fred Meyer.

13, 500 block Jetty Street. An
off-brand mountain bike and a
Schwinn mountain bike worth
$150 were taken.
• Theft from construction site,

mia. Someone entered a locked
work truck and stole a $900

ing heroin after she continued
to nod off while officers were
talking with her and a baggie
with a brown tar-like substance
was found in her possession.

suspicion of driving under the
influence of intoxicants, reckless
driving and reckless endanger-
ment. He was booked at Clatsop
County Jail, where he refused to
take a breath test.
• Unsafe driving, 4:47 a.m. July
9, Southeast Fifth Street at
North Main Avenue. Brandon
Levi Gilmore, 43, of Astoria was
arrested on suspicion of driving
under the influence of intoxi-
cants and failing to carry and
present a license. He was also
cited for driving while suspend-
ed, failing to register his vehicle
and driving without insurance.
He was booked at Clatsop Coun-
ty Jail.
