Where’s the bus?
Now you’ll know
Sunset Empire Transporta-
tion District has launched a
new smartphone application
to help riders find out where
their bus is.
Using “Transit App” and
Google maps, riders can
track their next bus, access
real-time transit information
and bus locations as well as
real-time trip planners so rid-
ers can make price and trav-
el-time decisions.
Those with smartphones can
go to the Apple ITunes store
or Google Play and download
the “Transit” app.
Those without a smartphone
can call 971-701-2224, en-
ter the bus stop number and
they will be given the next re-
al-time arrival for the route.
“The district is very excited
to bring real-time informa-
tion to our riders,” Executive
Director Jeff Hazen said. “We
know it will make traveling on
SETD buses much easier and
more enjoyable.”
