Countywide, an estimated
353 new homes will be need-
ed to serve the growing econ-
omy, according to a housing
study done on behalf of the
Way to Wellville program,
which is working with the
Kinder Ready collaborative.

of buildable land, she said.

inside and outside of our ur-
ban growth boundaries.”
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Warrenton City Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. April
24, 2018 at the Warrenton City Hall, Commission Chamber to consider Case No.
DCR 18-1, amendments to Warrenton Municipal Code Section 16.88.020 adopting
“The Flood Insurance Study of Clatsop County, Oregon and Incorporated Areas,”
dated June 18, 2018, with accompanying flood insurance rate maps. This case will
be reviewed under the procedures, standards and criteria in Warrenton Municipal
Code 16.208.060, Type IV Procedure (Legislative and Map Amendments.) and
Chapter 16.232 Amendments to Comprehensive Plan Text and Map, Rezone and
Development Code.
Anyone wishing to testify on this proposal may either attend the public hearing
and speak to the City Commission, or submit written materials, which must be
received by the Warrenton Planning and Building Department no later than 5:00
P.M. on the day of the hearing. Written comments may be mailed to Kevin A.
Cronin, Interim Community Development Director, Warrenton Building and
Planning Department, P.O. Box 250, Warrenton Oregon, 97146-0250.
Anyone wishing to review and/or purchase copies of the proposed legislation
and/or staff report may do so at the City of Warrenton Planning and Building

Warrenton-Hammond School Board of Directors
Announce Vacancy
The Board of Directors of the Warrenton-Hammond
School District No. 30 is actively seeking one applicant to
serve on the school district’s Board of Directors, Position 3,
through June 30, 2019.
Any interested citizen, who is a resident of the Warren-
ton-Hammond School District for at least one year imme-
diately preceding the appointment, is invited to submit an
application. Applications can be downloaded from the Dis-
trict’s website, www.warrentonschools.com, or picked up
from the District Office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

The deadline for receipt of applications is noon
