Alfred Robinson, 52, of Ham-
mond was arrested on suspicion
of driving under the influence
of intoxicants and booked at
Clatsop County Jail, where his
blood-alcohol was recorded at
0.16 percent.
• Shoplifting, 3:45 p.m. Jan. 25,
Fred Meyer. April R. Miller, 23,
of Astoria was arrested on sus-
picion of theft III and released
pending a court hearing.
• Suspicious woman riding bike,
3:31 p.m. Jan. 27, near Joann’s
Fabrics. Paige A. Hart, 29, of
Warrenton was arrested for
investigation of possessing a
controlled substance/heroin.

Coetzee, 57, of Hammond was
arrested on suspicion of criminal
trespassing.

Brianna Lynn Levisohn, 29, of
Warrenton was arrested for fail-
ing to carry and present a license
and cited for going 60 in a 45
mph zone, operating a vehicle
without driving privileges and
driving without insurance. She
was released pending a court
hearing.

Southeast Second Street and
Marlin Avenue. Jacob E. Terrill,
31, of Seaside was served with a
contempt of court warrant and
released pending a court hear-
ing.
• Drunken driving, 2:54 a.m. Jan.
29, Southwest First Street and
South Main Avenue. Dominic
Fredrick Caci, 30, of Warrenton
was arrested on suspicion of
driving under the influence of
intoxicants and cited for refus-
ing to take a breath test. He was
booked at Clatsop County Jail.

29, Highway 101 at Harbor
Drive. Paul R. Barkowski, 63, of
Vancouver, Wash., was arrested
for failing to carry and present
a license and cited for having
no operator’s license and failing
to carry proof of insurance. He
was released pending a court

• Neglected turtle, 3:37 p.m.
Jan. 25, 1500 block Honeysuck-
le Loop. Woman believes her
son-in-law is not caring for the
family’s turtle while his wife is in
the hospital.
• Dog attack, 7:27 p.m. Jan. 25,
800 block Fifth Avenue, Ham-
mond. A couple reported their
landlord’s black lab attacked
their Yorkshire terrier, who has
been hospitalized at the vet’s
overnight.
• Elk fighting with dogs, 8:27
a.m. Jan. 26, Eighth Street at
South Main Avenue. A four-
point bull elk was inside a
fenced yard sparring with the
dogs and the fence; Fish and
Game officers were called. Even-
tually the elk got in a dispute
with another elk and ran off.
• Possible animal abuse, 2 a.m.
Jan. 28, South Main Avenue
near Eight Street. A couple
from Estacada reported seeing
a woman beating a dog in the
middle of the road. An officer
found the woman, who’d put
the dog into her car and driven
away. The dog appeared to be
happy and responsive with no
visible injuries. The owner said
her dog had jumped out and she
was just putting it back in.

Jan 24, Youngs Bay Bridge. A
64-year-old Seaside man was
ticketed for careless driving
after nearly causing a head-on
collision by passing a motorist
on the bridge.
