Jacob Martin Kitzman, 26, of Warren- ton was arrested on suspicion of leaving the store without paying for three cans of beer and a roasted chicken as well as vio- lating conditions of parole and criminal trespassing. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail. • Driver hit pedestrian and left scene, 3:18 p.m. Dec. 5, South Main Avenue at First Street. A 13-year-old boy crossing the street was struck by a car and injured by a driver who left the scene. At least three witnesses provided information to police. Eleanor W. Ledford, 85, of War- renton was arrested on suspi- cion of failing to perform the du- ties of a driver. She was released pending a court hearing. • Theft of TV, Dec. 7, Shilo Inn. A man accused of stealing a TV from the hotel in November had agreed to pay for it. One month later, the man still had not paid. Christopher M.
