• Shoplifting, 1:37 p.m. Nov. 30,
Fred Meyer. Ashly A. Lukoszyk,
33, of Hammond was arrested
on suspicion of theft III. She was
released pending a court hear-
ing.
• Drunken driving, 7:25 p.m.
Dec. 1, Northeast Fifth Street
and North Main Avenue. Chris-
topher M. Peterson, 29, of War-
renton was arrested on suspicion
of driving under the influence
of intoxicants. He also was cited
for driving while suspended and
failure to obey a traffic con-
trol device. His blood-alcohol
content was recorded at 0.12
percent.
• Criminal trespassing, 6:47
p.m. Dec. 3, Fred Meyer. Jacob
Martin Kitzman, 26, of Warren-
ton was arrested on suspicion of
leaving the store without paying
for three cans of beer and a
roasted chicken as well as vio-
lating conditions of parole and
criminal trespassing. He was
booked at Clatsop County Jail.
• Driver hit pedestrian and left
scene, 3:18 p.m. Dec. 5, South
Main Avenue at First Street.
A 13-year-old boy crossing the
street was struck by a car and
injured by a driver who left the
scene. At least three witnesses
provided information to police.
Eleanor W. Ledford, 85, of War-
renton was arrested on suspi-
cion of failing to perform the du-
ties of a driver. She was released
pending a court hearing.
• Theft of TV, Dec. 7, Shilo Inn.
A man accused of stealing a TV
from the hotel in November had
agreed to pay for it. One month
later, the man still had not paid.
Christopher M. Peterson, 29,
of Warrenton was arrested on
suspicion of theft II and released
pending a court hearing.

Dec. 11, Highway 101 at Dol-
phin Road. Hector Wilfredo
Mena-Cortez, 25, of Linwood,
Wash., was arrested on suspi-
cion of driving under the influ-
ence of intoxicants. He also was
cited for having no operator’s
license and having an open con-
tainer of alcohol in the vehicle.
His blood-alcohol content was
recorded at 0.11 percent.
• Malicious mischief, 1:02 p.m.
Dec. 2, Robinson Community
Park. A red Dodge pickup with
no front plate tore up the grass
at a ballfield and hit a back-
stop. Truck gone when officers
arrived.
