two subjects sitting in a vehicle
outside the business for the past
30 minutes. Raymon Wayne
Littell, 41, of Sweet Home was
booked at Clatsop County Jail
on a warrant out of Linn County.
• Criminal trespassing, 6:38
p.m. Nov. 8, Fred Meyer. Store
personnel reported a man who’d
previously been trespassed
from the store had returned.
Jason Eric Cothren, 41, of Long
Beach, Wash., was arrested on
a warrant as well as criminal
trespassing.
• Shoplifting, 3:20 p.m. Nov.
9, Fred Meyer. Dylan Andrew
Johnson, 23, of Seaside was
arrested on suspicion of stealing
$318 worth of items and cited
for unlawful possession of psilo-
cybin mushrooms.
• Strangulation, 4:55 a.m. Nov.
13, 400 block Northwest Ridge
Road. Woman reported her
boyfriend became irate with her
while she looked for a flashlight
during the power outage and he
strangled her and threatened
her. Stephen Keith Switzer,
49, of Warrenton was booked
at Clatsop County Jail on

Harbor Place. Woman reported
her ex-boyfriend took the license
plates from her friend’s vehicle.
Mitchell Ray Kemp-Olson, 23,
of Astoria was arrested for theft
III and released, pending a court
hearing.
• Theft from motel room, 12:12
p.m. Nov. 8, Shilo Inn. Manager
reports guests stole a TV from
one of the rooms. The man was
identified on surveillance video
and agreed to pay for the TV.

• Vehicle burglary, 8:13 a.m. Nov.
2, 0-100 block Northwest Birch
Court. Items taken were $4,000
cash, a 9 mm handgun with
magazine, and 200 music CDs.
• Vehicle burglary, 8:22 a.m.
Nov. 2, 1200 block Southwest
Cedar Avenue. Items taken
include tools, cash, a parks pass
and a full coffee punch card.
• Vehicle burglary, 7:03 a.m.
Nov. 6, 900 block Southwest Ce-
dar Drive. Taken were watches,
loose change and sunglasses.
• Vehicle burglary, 8:11 a.m.
Nov. 6, 1900 block South Main
Avenue. Taken were gloves, a
hunting jacket and sunglasses.
• Vehicle burglary, 6:20 p.m.
Nov. 6, First and Birch streets.
Two knives taken and vehicle
rifled.
• Garage broken into and two
vehicles burglarized, 6:55 a.m.
Nov. 9, 100 block Southwest
• Vehicle burglary, 8:30 a.m.
Nov. 9, Bayview Apartments.
Taken was $500 cash from a
wallet.
• Theft in progress, 2:12 p.m.
Nov. 9, Costco. Three men
were in the process of stealing
three $500 security cameras.
When officers arrived, two
men had disappeared into the
forest behind the store, a third
was caught as he walked along
Ensign, but he did not have any
property with him. Two of three
cameras were recovered. Investi-
gation is ongoing.
• Burglary of two vehicles, 8 a.m.
Nov. 10, 1600 block of Eighth
Avenue, Hammond. Taken were
a vape pen and change.
• Vehicle burglary, 5:44 a.m.
Nov. 11, 1200 block Northwest
Warrenton Drive. More than
$3,000 worth of hunting items
were taken, including a box of
ammunition.
• Fraud, 9:45 p.m. Nov. 12, 1600
block Honeysuckle Loop. Wom-
an reports she was scammed
in purchase of a puppy online.

ic. A transient female, 61, was
refusing the leave and shouting.
An officer gave her a ride to her
pharmacy in Astoria.

cited for expired tags and driving

• Hit-and-run, 2:14 p.m. Nov. 7,

• Two-vehicle collision, one in-

had neck injuries and was taken
