The show, directed by Jason Hippert with Choreography by Carleta Lewis-Allen, has the males playing the female roles and women playing the men. It’s a cross-dressing extrav- aganza meant to lampoon the company’s much-loved show, “Shanghaied in Astoria.” Admission is $10, with all proceeds going toward build- ing projects. Putting that housing in an area that’s a short stroll to parks, the library, city ser- vices and a struggling albeit tiny downtown is ideal. “That’s what urban renewal is all about -- increasing that livability.”
