as supervising health department

Qualified candidates must pos-
sess the following:
• Progressively responsible high-
level executive health care related
administrative experience, prefer-
ably in a public health setting.
• Experience should include
working with community health
care agencies and responsibility
for community contact.
• Bachelor’s Degree in health
business management; or
• A minimum of five years of nurs-
ing experience, at least two of
which are at the supervisory level.
Experience in a public health set-
ting preferred.
• Training and experience that
would be equivalent to a bache-
lor’s degree and three (3) to six
(6) years of experience that
demonstrates the ability to per-
form the duties of the position.
(Equivalency 7-10 years of quali-
fying training and/or experience).
• If requested by Executive Direc-
tor/ Public Health Department Ad-
ministrator, may need to complete
graduate courses (or equivalents)
in biostatistics, epidemiology, en-
vironmental health sciences,
health services administration
and social / behavioral sciences
relevant to public health prob-
lems.
• Must be able to pass a criminal
background check
• Have a valid Driver’s license
with personal auto insurance cov-
erage of $300,000 in bodily injury
and $100,000 in property dam-
age.

Annual salary for this supervisory
position range from $78,000 to

County from the end of the county road sign to the turnaround at the locked gate are hereby notified that
the road has been resurveyed and the Board of county Commissioners will meet on December 7, 2022
at 9:00 A.M. at Grant County Courthouse in Canyon City, Oregon to hear and determine whether the road
described above and included in the survey shall be ordered as a lawful county road and public highway.
Objections must be filed in the office of the county clerk of this county on or before December 7, 2022 or

FINDINGS OF FACT
ORS 279C.335(1) requires, with certain exceptions, that all Public Improvement contracts be based on
competitive bids and, under ORS 279C.375, awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
ORS 279C.335(2) permits the Local Contract Review Board, as the Grant School District contract review
authority, to grant, under certain conditions, specific exemptions from the requirement for competitive bid-
ding upon the approval of specified findings.
OAR 137-049-0620, division 249 allows the Local Contract Review Board to exempt a Public Improvement
contract from the requirements to be competitively bid, provided written findings supporting the use of
non-competitive bid process show compliance with OAR 137-049-0600 to 137-049-0690 and applicable
statutes. The written findings report is available for review at the School District prior to the public hearing;
