at 9:00 A.M. at Grant County Courthouse in Canyon City, Oregon to hear and determine whether the road
described above and included in the survey shall be ordered as a lawful county road and public highway.

Job Duties: Perform work in the
care and custody of Adults in
Custody (AIC) in the Grant
County Criminal Justice Facility.
Process individuals in and out of
the facility, provide meal service
and dispense medicine to AIC’s,
record keeping, housekeeping,
and other daily operations in and
around the facility. May be re-
quired to deal with violent and
combative individuals that would
require considerable physical ef-
fort.
Screening Requirements: 21
years of age or older for legal
qualification. High school gradua-
tion or equivalency. Some knowl-
edge of policies, procedures and
techniques relating to the cus-
tody, care and transportation of
AIC’s, and the applicable laws
and regulations. Possess a De-
partment of Public Safety Stan-
dards & Training (DPSST)
Corrections Certificate or the abil-
ity to obtain within one year of
hire. Pass the physical abilities
testing as required by DPSST,
and a written test given by the
Sheriff’s Office.
Necessary Special Require-
ments: Possess or ability to ob-
tain a valid Oregon Driver’s
license and be able to meet the
county’s driving standards. Ability
to pass a criminal background
check.
